First GP-led quiet vaccination session coming to Crawley

Following the success of the COVID-19 quiet session at our larger vaccination centres, the first GP-led vaccination quiet session will be taking place at the Hindu Temple, Apple Tree Centre, Crawley, on Sunday 27 June 9am – 2pm.

This Quiet Session is being offered to people living in Sussex who are currently eligible for the vaccine and who may need more time for their appointment, or who have extra access needs where a quieter and calmer environment would help support them to receive their vaccination.

This includes:

  • People with a learning disability
  • Neuordivergent people, including people on the autism spectrum
  • People with severe anxiety that affects them attending other vaccination centres or services
  • People living with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s disease

You can book your carer in at the same time if they need their first vaccination dose and wecan help you arrange free transport or a live British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter.
