Nature and purpose of the processing

Any personal data you provide to the Vaccine Enquiry Service will be processed solely to enable us to respond to your enquiries about the Covid-19 vaccination programme. If you contact us by email, that will include your email address, and for most enquiries there will be no need to provide anything further. The Service may sometimes ask, as part of responding to your enquiry, for further information, or if it can share your information with other agencies able to help. Where this is the case, we will always explain what this information is, who any agencies are and why the information is needed and obtain your clear permission before you are asked to provide any data and before any of your data is shared.

Lawful basis

The lawful basis for the processing of any personal data by the Vaccine Enquiry Service is UK GDPR Articles 6(1)(e) and 9(2)(h).

Data retention

Any personal data you provide to the Vaccine Enquiry Service will be stored securely and accessible only by members of the Sussex NHS Commissioners’ Vaccine Enquiry Service. Data will be retained for one year.
