Winter can be a particularly worrying time if you are living with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The following information will help you to stay well this Winter by managing your symptoms.
The British Lung Foundation (BLF) website contains a wide range of COPD information and resources.

The Rightbreathe website contains useful guidance and videos on inhaler technique – just search for your inhaler or spacer and the advice and video for that device will be displayed.
Your community pharmacist may also be able to help with questions about your inhalers.
Keeping active is very important.

Consider redoing the pulmonary rehabilitation section of the myCOPD app if you already have it installed. (To install the app, you will need to be referred via your respiratory doctor or nurse).
Managing flare ups
If you have a self management plan make sure you know where it is.
